An African clawed frog who was severely bloated. After he died I pulled more than 15mL of fluid from his abdomen. Cause of ascites was unknown.

Dang. Sorry to see you go. Though people rarely commented, I suspect your blog did a lot of good. Made folks have some more respect for our furry, feathered and slimy friends.
